February 22rd two of the heriditary socities will present their banners and the stones from St Alban’s Cathedral and St Sepulchre' s London **** at the Washington 's Birthday service. April 15th Archbishop Athenagoras will be with us and be one of the speakers and give the blessing at the end of the service at the presentation of the Roumanian Flag. Sir Walter Raleigh's Expedition of 1584, 350 years ago, will be honored by a Nationwide celebration this year. Canon Carnegie of St Margarets Westminster is sending us a stone from the Church where Sir Walter Raleigh was buried and where Americans many years ago placed a window to his memory. It is the state church of the House of Commons and every member has the status of a parishoner. I have just written to Mrs. Dana Gibson to find out if her sister Lady Astor will be here for the celebration.
